jQuery.when()

Provides a way to execute callback functions based on zero or more Thenable objects, usually Deferred objects that represent asynchronous events.

.hover()

Bind one or two handlers to the matched elements, to be executed when the mouse pointer enters and leaves the elements.

.closest()

For each element in the set, get the first element that matches the selector by testing the element itself and traversing up through its ancestors in the DOM tree.
